Writing class recommendations for January through March 2023 …and beyond

I have found it so nourishing to participate in writing classes designed by and for women of color.

For the first time in a year I won’t be participating in the next of Anne Liu Kellor’s excellent regeneration workshops; instead I’ve signed up for 2 classes with Darien Hsu Gee (Writing About the Women in Your Family and Micro Prose Chapbook: Archetypes) and one with Jennifer Perrine (Nature is All of Us: Decolonizing Nature Writing).

I may be back for Anne’s next Both/And class for mixed race people later in the year, and I cannot wait for Co-Dependencies: On Healing, Remembering, Breathing & Writing Trauma with Janice Li, starting at the end of April. She opens portals like no one else I know ❤ and I’ll probably also take Dandelions Are Prophesizing: a Writing Workshop Through Plant & Mycelial Encounters with her again too! Perhaps I’ll see you in one or more of these online spaces? Hope so 🙂

Which teachers have you found to be the most supportive of your writing practice?
